Account and Associated Data Deletion

You may start account deletion using one of the following methods:

1. In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
2. On the web: use the public deletion-request page at [ACCOUNT_DELETION_WEB_URL].
3. If you cannot access your account, email support@alogym.app from the email address or verified contact associated with the account.

To prevent unauthorized deletion, you may be asked to sign in again, enter a verification code, or otherwise verify account ownership in a proportionate way.

Signing out, clearing the app cache, uninstalling the app, or disabling notifications does not delete your alogym account.

Deletion begins only after you submit a request through an official method and complete the final confirmation step.

After final confirmation, access to your account may be disabled immediately or shortly afterward, and the deletion process will begin.

• sign-in to the account will stop
• plans and history linked to the account will no longer be available
• personalized features and AI Coach access will stop
• deletion or irreversible anonymisation requests will be sent to relevant systems

Once final deletion has started, recovery of the account or data may no longer be possible.

Unless retention is legally or operationally required, account-related data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised, including:

• profile data such as name, date of birth, sex, height, weight, and country
• phone number, account identifiers, and sign-in information
• assessment answers and fitness goals
• submitted health, injury, and limitation information
• body images and uploaded files
• workout, nutrition, and supplement plans
• workout history, meals, supplements, reminders, and progress records
• text or voice AI Coach conversations, subject to applicable retention rules
• settings, preferences, and personalisation data
• social sign-in or device tokens, where applicable

Limited information may remain after account deletion where a valid legal basis requires retention, including:

• financial records, invoices, and transaction data required for accounting, tax, or payment compliance
• records needed for fraud prevention, system security, or abuse investigations
• support correspondence related to complaints, disputes, or legal claims
• information required to comply with a legal duty or defend legal rights
• limited technical logs retained under controlled security policies

Access to retained data is restricted, and the data will be deleted or anonymised when the legal or operational need ends.

Residual copies may remain for a limited period in encrypted backups. They are removed through the normal backup-replacement cycle and are not restored to active systems for ordinary use or personalisation, except where necessary for security or legal reasons.

alogym’s operational target is to remove account data from active systems without undue delay and remove residual backup copies within no more than [BACKUP_RETENTION_DAYS] days. This value must match the actual infrastructure configuration.

Deletion requests are handled without undue delay. In normal cases, the main action and response will be completed or communicated within one month.

Where a request is complex or numerous requests are being handled, the legal response period may be extended by up to two additional months. You will be informed of the reason and extension within the first month.

Technical removal from certain backups may follow the applicable backup-retention cycle.

Deleting your account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another store.

• cancel the subscription through the store where it was purchased before deleting the account
• account deletion does not automatically create a refund
• access to one-time purchases, plans, and account-linked benefits may be permanently lost
• receipts and transaction records may be retained where legally required

Information that was genuinely and irreversibly anonymised before deletion and can no longer be linked to you is not personal data and may remain for statistics, security, internal research, or service improvement.

alogym will not use anonymised data to reconstruct your identity or deleted account.

Where authorised cloud, infrastructure, analytics, support, AI, or other processors handle account data, alogym will pass appropriate deletion or restriction instructions to them in accordance with contracts and applicable law.

Data held independently by app stores, payment processors, or other independent third parties may be governed by their own policies. You may need to contact those providers directly.

The right to erasure is not absolute. Some information may be retained where necessary for:

• compliance with a legal obligation
• establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims
• fraud prevention or security investigations
• accounting, tax, or payment requirements
• public-interest purposes or another valid legal exception

If a request is refused in whole or in part, you will be told the reason, legal basis, and available complaint options.

If you do not want to delete the entire account, you may contact support@alogym.app to request correction or deletion of particular data, withdraw consent, restrict processing, or obtain a copy of your data.

Whether a request can be fulfilled depends on the type of data, processing basis, and applicable law.

A deletion request for a user under 18 may be submitted by the user or by a parent or legal guardian. Identity or guardianship verification may be required to protect the user.

Requests concerning children’s and young people’s data will receive particular attention under applicable law.

alogym may request proportionate identity verification to protect the account but will not intentionally collect more information than necessary.

Where there are signs of account theft, unauthorized access, or a dispute about account ownership, deletion may be temporarily restricted while the security issue is investigated.

If you submitted the request by mistake, contact support@alogym.app immediately.

If final deletion has started or completed, cancellation or recovery may not be possible. alogym does not guarantee restoration of a deleted account.

Where possible and using the available contact method, alogym will send confirmation after the main deletion actions are complete.

The confirmation may explain which data was deleted, which data is temporarily retained under a legal obligation, and the approximate backup-removal period.

If you believe your deletion request was not handled properly, contact support@alogym.app first.

Individuals protected by the GDPR may complain to the competent data-protection authority. In Sweden, the supervisory authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.

A complaint does not limit any other legal or judicial rights available to you.

This text may be updated to reflect changes in the Services, infrastructure, law, or app-store requirements.

The latest revision date will appear at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or another appropriate method.
